Recorded teaching session

One of my teaching sessions recorded. Looking at De Bono's 6 learning hats. Lesson was presented to my peers on the pgce course and was recorded in two section. The idea of the lesson wasnt so much to present the subject but to use as a tool to analyse my own teaching practice. I would recommend any teacher doing this.

Hi and welcome to my blog.

I have set this up for two reasons, firstly I will use it as a kind of diary of my teaching career from the very start so I can record any good/bad teaching practices I have observed or used and can regularly refer back to.

Secondly it can be used by others as a place to get ideas and information to use in your own practice.

A bit about me. I am currently 3 months into a PGCE in post compulsory education in Essex. I have taught in a college for 3 years previously and am now in a placement at a leading sixth form college. I am passionate about active learning and the use of technologies in the classroom.
